i'll admit i'm very intrigued...it's like Amelie with the bins of monochromatic edible items. but what is christmas salad? and do people who don't eat jalapenos even have a chance to enjoy said salad?!
those jalepenos look very innocent with their little top caps lying nearby...definitely don't look capable of making sumanth spend a night with his fingers in milk! they were very worth it though! yum...
the oreos look like every kids dream, take a whole pack of oreos, eat the yummy filling, and toss the rest. Maybe there is more to the story, like a crust or topping, but I do like the idea of just eating the fillings and tossing the rest of the cookie...maybe next year! (another stupid joke about next year, I seem to be full of those these days)
oh you have (as per usual) created an atmosphere of whimsy and intrigue..without being pedantic i hope, i find that my intrigue is what "carpet" of oreos *really* means...were these on the carpet? did they form a carpet on a raised surface ? did you eat them or simply observe them ? oh there are so many possibilites, but they are all good...
Jalapeno wrath is what I call it. Last New Year's I made a jalapeno cornbread and subsequently spent the first day of January with fingers in an ice bucket. Next time we made jalapeno cornbread, it was Paul's turn ... and he suffered the same fate. No more jalapeno's for us!!!

These jalepenos and oreos are intense and extreme. Love to both bloggers, and happy 2009, susanna

i'm smiling so hard it hurts...we are all so darn Curious! about the various foods and patterns and matter in which they are posed.
