Sorry, Amanda! This is probably a post that could have used some captions....Ok, we have a neighborhood bagel place that is so delicious, and every time we've gone in for the past 2+ years, I've always looked kind of longingly at these ginormous bagels hanging from the ceiling. They just seemed so funny--like how would you even eat them? Anyways, I've always wanted to walk out of there with my very own one, and so we had that as part of a Valentine's brunch that we made on Sunday. Also, the lettuce looking thing is a Kale flower--usually they are more purple than green--another weird thing that I'd been wanting that Sumanth got! I like how intricate they are and how they look all tall in a big glass vase. :)
Brooke--you wonders right--those are little owls...Sumanth hasn't worn them yet, but I'm hoping he will soon.
Amber, there's many more where that one came from! If you, Chuck, and Rora ever come to the east coast we've got a guest room and close proximity to Kupel's bagels:)
Are you sure you'd want a toddler in your beautiful apartment? Haha! We're actually friends with two families who live in Boston and keep trying to get us to visit. We'd love to take a trip out - we'll just have to see if we can get something worked out :)
oh i really enjoy being told that I wonders right. sounds like a wonderful book title/topic: wondering right. emily you, as a person, are a wonderful book title ;P. and that will be a fun day when sumanth wears owl socks.

i don't quite understand the largesse of the bagel---and also, is the lettuce just lettuce or is that a greenish flower? inquiring minds and all that.

ooh i like how unique and whimsical and quirky each item is. 12 inch bagels, kale flowers, lunch box and me wonders, are those owls on the socks ?
