What a perfect essay. There was a moment in it -- the part about your shoes, and the gravel driveway -- when I decided I would like to be friends with your sentences. Most people would say that's impossible, because they think sentences aren't alive or human or filled with so many sentiments, but yours are.
Ems, I am so proud of your essay!! If I had my own website, probably called "Broken Halo," I would always keep it as the top feature. Oh, and I think I would include Jaspy in the bio.
