My mom takes her coffee black, I take mine with cream.

Saturday morning, at my kitchen table.

Yesterday morning, at our favorite coffee shop in Boston.

I like the top view with hands on the coffee mugs. It's like Monday Night Football or something!

Now we need those white lines drawn with arrows to show the action.

mmm. i wonder if one day you'll take your coffee black as well? it seem like an acquired taste built over the years...

actually, i can't really see you passing up the seasonal creamers in the grocery in your later years ;)

Yeah, white lines to show the action would be particularly interesting in the coffee shop picture where our hands went constantly from the brioche roll to the little pots of jam and butter to our mouths. And then from our coffee mugs to our mouths!

Jodi, I'm not sure if I'll ever switch to black, but for now I've just been using light cream and splenda. No flavoring (gasp!)

oh brioche. that word just belongs with scones, jam, and deliciousness. really like the view from above. like an aerial view of a sweet day. by the by, if and when you are back in the northwest, I would like to heartily recommend Illy coffee. it has fruit and creaminess in it -- even I of non-coffee-ness find it sweet and wonderful.

Brooke--this is Illy coffee! And I love it with my whole heart. It sings to me and it as fruit and creaminess in it just like you said. What a perfect recommendation:)
